WHY WE NEED A NEW HEALTH CENTRE

To ensure we have a local health service.

We need upgraded facilities to:

> Attract doctors to work and remain here
> Accommodate visiting health services under one roof
> Allow modern services to be provided

This project was developed from the public Meeting held in Martinborough in early 2005.

The Ruamahunga Health Trust was formed from the steering committee formed at that meeting.

Current Trustees:
Ro Griffiths (Chair), Terry Blacktop (Sec/Treas), Honor Clark,Liz Hancock, Garry Jackson, David Lawrence, Dianne Phelps, Sue Sullivan
WHAT IS PLANNED?

Ruamahunga Health Trust is planning to build a modern health centre

The new centre will have:

> 3-4 consulting rooms

> A surgical room

> 2 nurses rooms

> Modern toilet facilities and storage

> A large comfortable waiting room

> Space for other health professionals

The new health centre will be owned by the community through the Ruamahunga Health Trust and leased by the Martinborough doctors.
HOW YOU CAN HELP?
The new health centre will cost at least $600,000.

We need your help to raise funds now so that building can begin early in 2006.

Can you organise a fundraiser?

Do you have other ways you can help?

No donation is too large or too small

Whatever you are able to give now will help to provide Martinborough with a modern Health Centre.
